Kavi Dula Bhaya Kag — Kag Bapu — was not merely a poet. He was a witness to suffering, a voice for the voiceless, and a gentle force for social good. His literature drew deeply from Gandhian values, the Bhoodan movement, and an abiding love for the common people of Kathiyawad.

Kavi Shri Dula Kag Memorial Trust was founded to keep that spirit alive — not only through words, but through action.

Educational Support Initiative

Date: 15th July, 2026 (Wednesday)

Venue: Shri Kasturba Mohandas Gandhi Primary School, Bhavnagar

Kavi Shri Dula Kag Memorial Trust distributed pencil kits and lunch boxes to over 150 students of Shri Kasturba Mohandas Gandhi Primary School No. 48, Bhavnagar. The initiative was carried out by the Trust's Secretary, Ish Kag, with the aim of supporting young learners and encouraging education.

The school Principal also introduced the students to the life and literary legacy of Padmashri Bhaktakavi Dula Bhaya Kag (Kagbapu) and spoke about his celebrated poem "Tara Aanganiya Puchhine Koi Aave Re...", informing them that they will study the poem as part of their academic curriculum in the coming grades.

Free Medical Health Camp

Date: 25th June, 2026 (Thursday)

Venue: Ahir Samaj Vadi, Babariyadhar Village, Rajula, Amreli

On the occasion of the 28th Punyatithi of Late Shri Rambhai Dulabhai Kag, Kavi Shri Dula Kag Memorial Trust organised a free multi-speciality health camp in partnership with HCG Hospitals, Bhavnagar — bringing expert medical care to the doorstep of a rural community in Amreli district.

The camp offered free consultations across five specialities including Internal Medicine, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, General Surgery, and ENT, along with free diagnostic tests including ECG, Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar, and Thyroid screening.
